President
Throughout her career, Van Adams has demonstrated the ability to quickly achieve positive results in both top-line revenues and bottom-line profits. Her work has encompassed private, not-for-profit, and academic institutions in which she has managed and executed promotional campaigns.
She has experience in several aspects of business management, including sales and marketing, operations, strategic planning, business development and product management. Her strong planning and organization skills combine with effective leadership and management.
Before starting her own company, Adams was an independent consultant and specialized in marketing communications for athletes. Her marketing efforts extended to a variety of other businesses, with an expertise in developing and synchronizing special events.
Prior professional experience includes Sports Illustrated, where she coordinated athlete logistics for the Sportsman of the Year Award show and other client-based hospitality events and promotions. Adams has directed media activity for select United States Golf Association national championship events, and also implemented key promotional campaigns and press conferences for the association. She has had similar experience in her hometown of Buffalo, New York, with Buffalo State College Intercollegiate Athletics, and the Buffalo Bills organization.
Van Adams lends a professional hand as contributing writer for the African American Golfers Digest and acts as managing editor for W.I.S.E. (Women in Sports and Events) newsletter, of which she is also a board member. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., some of her interests include video games, playing an occasional round of golf,and creative design.
She is a graduate of Grambling State University, where she earned a B.S. in Biology and a masters degree in Sports Administration.
